How it works

Before you arrive in Ocean City

Once you've selected the best option for you and your friends and have carefully read the pre-rent agreement (see it here), your next step is to get in touch using the contact tab and send all the required info. After that you'll receive detailed instructions about paying the security deposit and reserving your spot for the summer (please note: all spots are considered available until a security deposit is paid).

Please remember to contact us and confirm your exact arrival date. If you need help arranging airport transfer we would be happy to help.

After you arrive in Ocean City

By this time you will have already passed the point of no return and embarked on that glorious airplane ride to the Land Of The Free. It's probably a good idea to bring bed sheets and a towel or you can opt for our additional Hospitality Package where everything will be provided for you. Either way your very own bed with a fresh new pillow is ready and waiting for you.

At this point you should have your first rent payment ready and should have reached out to us so we can meet and say hello as well as sign your rental contract.

Important questions to ask when looking for housing

We're all here to have fun and make the most of this experience, but there are a few things you need to consider before diving in to this whole American Dream thing. Probably one of the most oversighted aspects of choosing a home for the summer is safety. While everybody is looking for the best deal or the shortest distance most people don't stop and consider what really matters: staying safe! ! ! Here are a few questions you need to be asking both yourself and your Landlord when looking for a place to call home for the summer.

Q: Is the housing safe?

A: All our units are equipped with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers in the event that you get over zealous in the kitchen.

Q: Am I close to transportation?

A: Most of our units are minutes away from a Bus Stop.

Q: Will I be comfortable in summer temperatures?

A: Every bedroom is equipped with it's own individually controlled AC system, because sleep is very important to a J1 student.

Q: Do I need to worry about pests?

A: All our units have been professionally treated against pests (rodents, insects, etc) and are certified as being clean at move-in.

Q: Do I need to pay additional charges for Internet?

A: All our units have Wi-Fi included for the extent of the contract.

Q: Do I need to pay for utilities?

A: We are more than happy to cover the costs of the utility bills for the extent of your stay as long as you promise to protect the environment and only use as much as you need.

Q: Where can I go have some fun?

A: Although house parties are strictly forbidden in all our units you're minutes away from Mother's Cantina, Buxy's Salty Dog Saloon, Pit'n Pub or a local's favorite FishTales.

Q: Can I get a nice tan?

A: Grab your beach towel and sunscreen, you're 3 minutes away from the Boardwalk and the wonderful Ocean City beaches.

Q: Is there someone I can talk to?

A: Our hotline is online all summer so you can email anytime with questions.

Q: Can I stay longer?

A: Although our contracts only run until the beginning of October it is possible to extend your stay until later and even year-round (certain conditions apply).

Q: Will I get my Security Deposit Back?

A: As long as everybody plays by the rules and nothing gets damaged beyond normal wear and tear we make it a point to always return our tenants' hard earned money.

Q: What should I bring with me?

A: The units are initially equipped with the essentials for day-to-day life: plates, cups, cutlery, toilet paper, a new pillow for every bed, etc. You need to provide your own toiletries (shampoo, toothbrush etc) as well as your own sheets and covers.
